The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully launched a Brazilian earth observation satellite and 18 Indian satellites with a PSLV polar satellite carrier rocket. This is the first time that India has launched a man-made satellite this year.

According to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), a PSLV polar satellite carrier rocket was launched from the Satish Dawan Space Center on srihrigoda island in the southeastern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh at local time, and the Brazilian satellite "amazon-1" carried by it successfully entered the predetermined orbit. As the main satellite launched this time, amazon-1, weighing 637 kg, is an optical satellite independently designed by Brazil's National Institute of space research, which is used to monitor the forest damage in the Amazon region and the agricultural situation in Brazil. The other 18 Indian satellites are mainly used to provide radio relay services.
